demands, QuickBooks is quite capable of handling pressure. But there are some
limitations also. And the contaminated company file is one of its limitations.

your corrupted file issue via QuickBooks File Doctor

Download the QuickBooks
File Doctor tool into your system.
● Then double-click on QBFD.EXE, after clicking
follow the onscreen instructions to install the doctor tool.
● After completing the download, this tool will
be opened automatically. See a green wrench icon in the windows taskbar. If you
don’t see, it is opening for finding your company file.
● Then use the drop-down list.
● Now click on the browse button & manually
locate it to continue, in case you don’t see your company file in the list.
Then you need to choose the below options.
( Both network
connectivity & file damaged- while you open your company file, and you
suspect company file is corrupted/damaged with an error like, -6000 -82, -6147,
-6000 -301, or -6130, -6000 -305 and -6150).
( network connectivity-
while you open the company file in multi-user mode. And you are using QB
software in a multi-user setup, or you get error H202, H505, H101, and H404).
● Now you need to enter your admin password to
your company file, while you prompted, then click on Next.
● It is necessary to make sure you are picking a
right option. Select the host/server & workstation. ( 1- pick a workstation
while you are running doctor tool on a workstation. 2-pick them if you are
using doctor tool on a server computer. 3- pick the server, if you are the single
user & use QB on the only single system).
● When prompted, to share your company file,
select one of the below options.
1.yes-
while you are using doctor tool on your server computer or host computer,
select it
2.no-
use it while you are running doctor tool on a computer it is not hosting the
company file.
● You will have to wait until QuickBooks File
Doctor finishes diagnosing.
● Now close file doctor, after finishing the
diagnosis tool try to open your QB file again to see if the problem is
resolved.
